Today i picked up the baby cards from Mr Heijt, Amsterdam's finest downtown printer.
Thanks to some clever pre-addressing of envelopes (and some speedy effort from my Magda-in-law) we managed to envelope, stamp and mail them today.
Obviously, you'll have to wait & see what it looks like in the mail, but here's the custom-made stamp as a sneak preview.
I'd like to say a BIG and very public THANK YOU to Gitta (and her sister Petra) Sluijters from Your Cup of T, who designed our card and stamp. It came out exactly as we had hoped ! If you click on the postage stamp in the right-hand column, it will take you to their site.
Good gracious, I had no idea at all that such custom-made stamps even existed! How very posh! Hope we overseas folk will also be getting such a special stamp on our envelopes?
